About Me

I was raised in Santa Cruz, California and I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Santa Barbara. I am bi-cultural and bilingual in Spanish and English. In my free time I enjoy practicing hot yoga, hiking, surfing, ice skating, and spending time at local vineyards and eateries.

My background spans from working in behavioral health crisis teams, community support organizations, and healthcare-based settings. For over a decade, I’ve worked alongside healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams supporting individuals navigating chronic health conditions, neuro-diversity challenges, burnout, stress, substance use recovery with focus on opioid use disorder, mental health challenges, and addressing barriers to accessing care. Additionally, I managed a Food as Medicine program helping expand medically tailored nutrition initiatives for communities across California. My work includes collaborating with health plans, registered dietitians, and organizations to improve access to nutritious and sustainable food.

My perspective on wellness is also deeply personal. After supporting my mother through cancer treatment, I developed a strong understanding of the emotional and physical toll that chronic stress and caregiving can have on overall well-being. Particularly with being a working professional in a system not designed to support caregivers or understand cultural dynamics and challenges individuals may face. That experience shaped my interest in sustainable wellness practices focused on stress support, caregiver burnout prevention, and how to navigate complex medical and social systems.

In addition to my healthcare and community wellness background, I am a trained yoga instructor and enjoy integrating restorative yoga practices. Current office also offer’s acupuncture, perinatal support and therapy.
